Would you like a cuppa’ tea? And a biscuit as well?

That old ad from the 80’s I believe, do you remember it? “Would you like a cup of tea and a biscuit as well?” I can’t even recall what they were selling.

Cups of tea and coffee are the new black. Everyone is doing it. People ‘do’ coffee. So many people stop for coffee daily or more than once a day. There’s coffee Drive Thru’s and coffee shops on every corner. Even the local servo has takeaway coffee.

Then there’s me. I don’t ‘do’ coffee or tea. Can’t stand it. I can tolerate the smell of it and that’s about it. I don’t mind the smell of roasting coffee beans if they’re good but that’s as close as it gets.

I really wish I drank coffee as sitting at the coffee shop ‘doing coffee’ is so ‘in’ and there’s me with a glass of water. I’d be super interested to hear from anyone else that doesn’t ‘do’ coffee. It doesn’t seem like there is many of us!
